Quinta da Misericórdia has been shaped by the many people who supported us, some becoming cherished friends and passionate advocates of the farm. Their role is one we deeply value and wish to acknowledge.

Our architectural team is PM Arquitectos, led by arq. Luis Pereira Miguel and arq. Ana Abrantes, with the support of arq. Patrícia Reis. Many specialists played a part as well, including topographer Hugo Graça, historian Dr.ª Lina Marrafa de Oliveira, landscape architect Ana Maria Clemente, and Eng.º Luis Gião Marques for structural studies. Our construction contractor, Mr. Paulo Gaspar, was a major contributor, with Mr. Rui and Mr. Zé bringing exceptional skill to the masonry work.

After a devastating wildfire in 2023, we began collaborating with forest and agriculture consultant Eng.º Nuno Serra and landscape architect João Bicho, with whom we regularly exchange views on horticulture, meadows and woods management. The garden is cared for mostly by us, with the invaluable help of Sr. Hermínio.

For the photographs, our dear friend Miguel Manso captured the images, with Inês Branquinho as model and producer.

Our children Beatriz, Leonor, António and Carolina, nephews Diogo and Joana (just to mention the younger crowd) and many other friends and family gave precious help on plantations (and picnics!).
